Hard to believe it but this week marks 4 years of Young Mary's.
Four years ago I sat my family down (after a massive Thanksgiving dinner) to show them an idea I'd been working on for some time. I was nervous and excited to see how they'd react. Thankfully, no one laughed me out of the room.
Fast forward and this little idea to spread African joy through scent is actually a reality. Young Mary's has reached every corner of the world from South Korea and New Zealand to South Africa and Germany. We're stocked in amazing shops, have been able to participate in the most wonderful markets and have even popped up at a John Lewis store or two.
Life has changed a lot in the past four years, including having a baby that's now a walking, talking toddler - but one thing has stayed the same. All of you allowing us to make this dream a reality. I still have to pinch myself when I think of all the people that make Young Mary's possible. From regular customers to occasional purchasers and even those who stop by our market stalls just to have a sniff and a chat. From the very bottom of our hearts, we thank you all.
