Inspired by the Motherland...
Named after her grandmother who raised her when she was young, Young Mary's was founded by Lola Jemibewon, (A Nigerian-American who currently calls the UK home). After Lola made the big move from the US to Nigeria, it didn't take long for her to rediscover the wealth of beauty Nigeria, and most of Africa, had to offer. She wanted a way to share her love for the continent with people near and far so armed with her hobby of candle making and storytelling, Young Mary's was born.
Lola is passionate about all things Africa.
Particularly getting off the beaten track and exploring its beautiful towns and cities.
To date she's been to a quarter of the continent and has a life goal of stepping foot in each country!
She would love to visit to your school, office, church or community event to share some stories and adventures of life in the Motherland.
